Katherina A. Roberts

Katherina A. Roberts, 70, of Camillus, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. Born in Rochester, she lived most of her life in Syracuse. Katherina owned Kathy's Land of Little People where she made wood crafts and ceramics pieces. She was formerly employed with Production Products in Manlius and was a CNA at Stonehedge Health and Rehabilitation Center, the VA Hospital and Bethany House. She enjoyed spending time with family.

Katherina was predeceased by her sister, Treasa Kent; and brother, William Eld.

Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Allen; daughters, Annemarie (Ralph) Haney of Elbridge and Melissa M. (Jeffrey Tanis) Roberts of Albany; sons, Michael D. (Lindsey Peters) of Kirkville and Stephen D. (Donald Sears) of Fulton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Crough, Mary (Stan) Fell and Marlyn Kimmbell, all of Canada; brothers, Ronald (MaryAnn) Eld, Pat (Heather) Crough, Fergus (Wendy) Crough and Mike (Terri) Crough, all of Canada and Gary (Kathy) Luyben of Michigan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada.

Relatives and friends may call Monday, August 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Words of remembrance will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
