Andrey Arefyev

Andrey Arefyev, 31, of DeWitt, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at University Hospital. Born in Gorlovka, Ukraine on Thursday, July 10, 1980, he moved to the U.S. in 1995 and lived in the Syracuse area for the last 15 years. Andrey was self-employed restoring cars. Surviving are his son, Alex; parents, Vladimir and Natalya of Fayetteville; sisters and brother-in-law, Oksana and Tony Savich of Atlanta, Georgia, Dasha and Anastasia Arefyev; and brothers, David and Daniel Arefyev, all of Fayetteville; and his niece, Emma Savich of Atlanta, Georgia. Services will be Friday, October 7 at 11 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Andrey will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. Family and friends gathered Thursday, October 6 for evening services at the funeral home.
