Ann Adrianne Volsko

May 1, 1925 — February 17, 2014

Ann Adrianne Volsko, 88, of Camillus, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of Vocational High School and Kathryn Gibbs Secretarial School. Ann was employed by the NYS Health Dept. for more than 20 years and was a member of the Lincoln Cultural Assn. and Civil Service Employees Assn. A communicant of Holy Family Church, her faith was very important to her. Ann was predeceased by her parents, Steven and Julia Volsko; brothers, Steven, Michael and John Volsko; and sisters, Mary Slowinski, Helen Mitchell and Margaret Rolince. Surviving are her sister, Irene Olcott of Camillus; brother-in-law, Edward Rolince of Geddes; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Friday, February 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 22 at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Private entombment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Family Church or Holy Family Food Pantry, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse, NY 13219.
