Anne K. (Bych) Klein

Anne K. (Bych) Klein, 83, formerly of Fairmount, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. Born on Monday, November 8, 1926, she was the daughter of Wasyl Bych and Tekla Batiuk Bych. She was raised in Rome and moved to Syracuse in 1948. Anne was employed for many years with Fanny Farmer Candies in Syracuse and previously with Griffiss Air Force Base and GE. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. Anne loved sewing, baking and spending time on her family's farm. Anne was predeceased by an infant son; her son, John; and a sister, Mary Kochon. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, John; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Christopher Wagner; and grandchildren, Andrew and John Wagner, all of Lowman, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Debbie Klein of Rochester; and niece, Helen Harrington of Albion, Pennsylvania. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, July 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Anne will be laid to rest in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to W.A.V.E.S., 202 Bennett Rd., Camillus, NY 13031.
