Beverly J. Moran

Beverly J. Moran, 89, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Loretto. Born in Watertown, she was a lifetime resident of Syracuse. Beverly was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1989; son, Bernard J. Stapleton Jr.; and daughter, Donna Ellithorpe. Surviving are her daughters, Mary (Don) Francey, Kathleen Metrick, Beverly "Kelly" Stapleton, Janine (Robert) Daly and Andrea Miller; sons, John and Brian Stapleton; sisters, Marguerite Storey and Mary Hemings; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Calling hours and services were private. Beverly was laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Loretto Foundation, c/o Recreation Dept., 1305 Nottingham Rd., Jamesville, NY 13078.
