Beverly R. Davis

Beverly Wicks Davis, 92, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing.  She was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. Beverly was predeceased by her husband, Roger Wicks; brother, Malcolm Ryan; and sisters, Martha Williams and Jane Hackbarth. Surviving are her daughters, Karen Miller of Syracuse and Stephanie Wicks of West Chester, PA; sons-in-law, James Miller and Robert Portnoy; brother-in-law, Raymond Hackbarth; sister-in-law, Gussie Ryan; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. It was Beverly's wish to donate her body to SUNY Health Science Center. Graveside services will be at a later date in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
