Camille Thomas Bernardi

Camille Thomas Bernardi, 90, a longtime resident of Camillus, NY and Marco Island, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at St. Ann’s Care Center in Webster, NY.
Tom was a proud graduate of the first graduating class of Le Moyne College in 1951. He met his wife, Yolanda at a college basketball game, which developed into a loving 68-year marriage. Following college, Tom began a 35-year career with New Process Gear/Chrysler in Syracuse where he rose to the position of production control manager. He retired in 1986.
Tom and Yolanda enjoyed a long and happy retirement spending time with friends and family at their winter home on Marco Island, FL and their summer cottage on Sharbot Lake in Canada. They were very family oriented and will be missed dearly by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as their friends and family.
Tom was recently predeceased by his loving wife, Yolanda L. Bernardi on August 1, 2019.
Surviving are his children, Dolores (Dick) Berish, Archie (Kathy) Bernardi, Patricia (Glenn) Hallauer and Thomas (Cindy) Bernardi; grandchildren, Richard and Diane Berish, Jamie (John) Welch, Daniel (Christie) Bernardi, John Hallauer, Lisa (Alex) DiFrancisco and Thomas Bernardi; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19 from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 5600 W. Genesee Street, Camillus.
A funeral Mass for Tom and Yolanda will follow at 10 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Church.
