Catherine Bitzel, 98, of Syracuse, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. She was a lifetime resident of Syracuse. Catherine loved dogs and gardening. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church.
Catherine was predeceased by her sister, Julia Bitzel.
Surviving is her brother, Joseph Bitzel of Syracuse.
Services will be Tuesday, November 27 at 11 a.m. in SS. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, 401 Hamilton St., Syracuse. Catherine will be laid to rest in St. Michael's Russian Orthodox Cemetery, East Syracuse.
