Charlotte K. Car

Charlotte K. Car, 90, of Syracuse, formerly of Watsonville, CA, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at Upstate University Hospital Community Campus. Born and raised in Watsonville, CA, she moved to New York in 2017. Charlotte was a graduate of Morland Notre Dame and worked as a bookkeeper at Marty Franich Lincoln Mercury for 35 years. She was a communicant of Most Holy Rosary and very active in St. Patrick's Church in Watsonville, CA. Charlotte was a member of YLI, CFU and SACO. She enjoyed crocheting, especially blankets for her grandchildren.

Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, Anton, in 2017; sister, Mary Ann Scurich; and brother, George Strazicich.

Surviving are her daughter, Annette Marie Holm of Syracuse; son, Peter (Carolyne) Car of Aromas, CA; brother, Mirko Strazicich of Carmichael, CA; grandchildren, Joseph (Golnez), Kristin, Michael (Kathleen), Nicholas, Brandon and Erik Holm and Jennifer (Michael) and Bradley Car; great-grandchildren, Braden, Alexandria, Isabella, Michael, Ethan, Alexis, Emilee and Fiona; and many nieces and nephews.

Services and burial will be held at a later date in California.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
