Christine (Hogan) Porter

Christine (Hogan) Porter, 62, of Sacramento, California, formerly of Syracuse, passed away Friday, December 11, 2009. Born in Cuba, New York on Tuesday, March 18, 1947, she was the daughter of John Edward Hogan and Vivian Fern Ransier. Surviving are her daughter, Laurle Jones; sons, Jeff, John, and Edward Barnard; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, John, Gordon, Hugh, Terence, and Lance Hogan; sisters, Sharon Phillips and Catherine Ptak. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
