Dara Pilipovic

Dara Pilipovic, 80, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at home. Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, she moved to the CNY area in 2000. Dara enjoyed her time as the owner of a grocery store in Bihać, Bosnia for many years. She was devoted to her family. Dara was predeceased by her husband, Dusan Pilipovic. Surviving are her daughter, Snjezana (Demir) Pilipovic of Bosnia; son, Milan (Hanifa) Pilipovic of Camillus; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many extended family members in Bosnia. Relatives and friends may call Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
