David B. Schuler

David B. Schuler, 81, of Rochester, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at Strong Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Lockport, he moved to Rochester in 1983. An Army veteran with a master's degree from Alfred University and University of Maryland, David loved to write, read and spend time with his family, especially his grandkids.

David was predeceased by his sister, Anita Crafts; and brother, Dennis Schuler.

Surviving are his daughter, Jennifer (David) Rodgers of Syracuse; son, David J. Schuler of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Barbara Friedly of Dayton, OH; brother, Richard "Dick" (Diane) Schuler of Houston, TX; grandkids, Cooper, Mason and Zachary Rodgers; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, February 14 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will follow at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
