David F. Yacano

David F. Yacano, 85, of Camillus, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at home. Born in Norwich, he moved to Camillus in the 1960s. Dave was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and earned his bachelor's degree from SUNY Alfred State. He was employed with GTE for over 20 years, retiring in 1987. Dave was a communicant of Holy Family Church and enjoyed horse racing, cards and fishing.
Dave was predeceased by his brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, the former Mary Lou Allen; sons, Michael (Allyson) and David, both of Camillus; and grandchildren, Matthew, Sara, Michael and Joseph.
There will be no calling hours.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Warners.
