Diane Lawrence, 77, of Marcellus, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, December 23. She was formerly employed by Onondaga Community College. She volunteered at the Syracuse Rescue Mission, was an active member of the Friends of Marcellus Free Library and enjoyed folksmarches.
Diane was predeceased by her parents, Priscilla and William Metzger. Surviving are her daughter, Carrie (Charles) Grooms of Camillus; son, Luke (Katherine) Lawrence of Marcellus; and nine grandchildren.
A joint celebration of life will be held at Grace Chapel, 1674 U.S. Route 20, Skaneateles, NY 13152, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Syracuse Right to Life or the Marcellus Free Library, 32 Maple St., Marcellus 13108.
