Donna Louise Buza
December 6, 1950 — June 14, 2021
On June 14, Donna Louise Buza joined her husband in Heaven at the age of 71 after fighting through several difficult health issues. She passed peacefully in hospice care.
Donna was predeceased by her husband, Rich; parents, Louise (Cornish) and Nicholas Notko; as well as many loved family members and friends.
Donna is survived by her children, Tammy (Wayne) LaFluer, Rich, Jr. (Sue) and Mike (Darcy); and grandchildren, Brittany and Parker Montpetit and Gena, Sophie, Ricky, Brooke, Ty, Coltan and Gavin Buza.
Donna’s birth mother, father and five siblings were recently found through Ancestry.com with the help of Catholic Charities. Donna is survived by her five siblings and predeceased by her birth parents.
Donna loved her family, her dogs, her crafts and keeping everything clean and organized. She spent most of her life serving others and was most happy doing so.
A celebration of life for Donna and Rich will be held on Friday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m. in North Central Assembly, 7463 Buckley Rd., Syracuse. The celebration will be lived streamed for those who are unable to attend at northcentral.online.church
In lieu of flowers, to honor the amazing staff that cared for Donna at the end, we would ask that all donations be sent to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.
