Edith Mary Sheldon

Edith Mary Sheldon, 88, of Camillus, passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Centre. She was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. Edith was employed with Eason Plumbing & Heating and Brown & Jewel as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed golfing and playing cards with her friends.
Edith was predeceased by her husband, James, in 2011; and son, Robert.
Surviving are her daughter, Cindy Dones of Fremont, CA; son, James (Carol) of Skaneateles; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be private in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edith's name may be made to James Square Health & Rehabilitation Centre, 918 James St., Syracuse, NY 13203 or to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
