Effie Joffrion Belvin

Effie Joffrion Belvin, 83, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at home. Born in Alexandria, Louisiana on Friday, September 9, 1927, she was the daughter of Edmund Joffrion and Oneda Jacobs Joffrion. Effie was predeceased by her husband, Cleophas Belvin Sr. and son, Alfred Martin Belvin Sr. Surviving are her son, Cleophas Belvin Jr. of Syracuse; sister, Lessie Quinney of Alexandria, Louisiana; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. There will be no services. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 West Genesee St., Camillus.
