Elizabeth Sue Heckman

Elizabeth Sue Heckman, 51, of Syracuse, died Saturday, June 28, 2008 at home. Born in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania on Friday, June 21, 1957, she was the daughter of Earl Heckman Sr. and Wanda Mae Jones Heckman. She was self-employed for many years. Sue attended Grace Baptist Church and was a member of the Day Break Program. Her interests included playing cards, Bingo, country music and Indian artifacts. Her husband, Martin Geelan, died June 21, 2008. Surviving are her sisters, Linda Heckman and Tammy Lakatos; brothers, Earl Heckman Jr., Christopher Heckman and Phillip Heckman; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts and uncles. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus with Pastor Gary C. Welling officiating. Friends may call preceding the service from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Loomis Hill Cemetery.
