Eunice Lange Colle, 85, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. Born in Le Roy, she lived in Camillus since 1964. She was a graduate of LeRoy High School and employed by Community General Hospital for 28 years. An active communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Eunice was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society, funeral guild, choir, as well as a money counter for the church. She sang with the Notabelles Choir. An avid sailor, she was a member of Cross Lake Yacht Club. She was also an active member of the Camillus Senior Citizens Center, enjoyed playing the organ, was an avid bridge player and also enjoyed playing croquet at the Westhill Country Club. Eunice was predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Colle, in 1996 and sister, Viahnett, in 1929. Surviving are her children, Sandra Colle of Liverpool, David (Susan) Colle of Hayward, WI, Jacquelyn (Michael) Degnan of Charlotte, NC, Yvonne (Kevin) Dirk of Syracuse, Donald (Bonnie) Colle II of Marcellus, and Tracy (James) Thompson of Concord, NC; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one niece; one great-nephew; and several cousins. Relatives and friends may call Friday, August 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 West Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, August 17 in St. Joseph's Church. Eunice will be laid to rest at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
