Frank T. Lacina, 90, of Camillus, died Saturday, July 21, 2007 at his daughter Mary Ann's home in Fairmount. Born on Wednesday, October 25, 1916, he was the son of Frank William Lacina and Anna Humzor Lacina. After growing up in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania, he lived in Camillus for the past 54 years. Frank was a truck driver for 45 years, including more than 25 years with Associated Transport. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theater. Frank was a member of Teamsters Local 317. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church. An avid bowler, he played most recently with the Monday Senior League at Solvay Lanes. He also enjoyed the Turning Stone Casino. His wife, the former Germaine Emilie Godeau, died April 25, 1996. Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Stephen Lonergan of Fairmount and Francine and Terry Batchelor of Camillus; sister, Margaret Monforte of Dallas, Pennsylvania; granddaughters, Darbie (Joseph) Davoli, of Syracuse and Emilie and Stephanie Lonergan, both of Fairmount; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Olivia and Joseph Davoli and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Monday, July 23, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Central New York, 990 Seventh North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
