Gary J. Lamoureaux

Gary J. Lamoureaux, 68, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the VA Medical Center. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a graduate of West Genesee High School. Gary was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was founder and owner of GJL Construction and loved boating and fishing in his free time.

Gary was predeceased by his parents, Kellard and Joan.

Surviving are his sons, Jeffrey (Janel) of Virginia and Jasen (Danielle) of Syracuse; sisters, Sharon Bishop of Syracuse, Doreen McAllister of Skaneateles and Nancy Cleveland of Alder Creek; brother, Thomas Sr. of Memphis; grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Luke and Scarlett; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, August 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will be private. Gary will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
