Helen C. Collins, 93, formerly of Westvale, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at Loretto. Born in Cortland, she lived most of her life in the Syracuse area and was a 1945 graduate of Most Holy Rosary.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Raymond, in 2014; and son-in-law, Gerald, in 2019.
Surviving are her daughters, Cynthia Grosso, Kathleen Broader and Mary Pat (Steve) Pouliot, all of Syracuse and Margaret (Peter Schaefer) Schick of Fayetteville; sons, Michael (Gerry Lindquest) Collins of Georgia and Lawrence (Susan) Collins of South Onondaga; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were private for family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208 or to ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
