Helen F. Baker

Helen F. Baker, 64, of Syracuse, died Friday, September 26, 2008 at University Hospital. Born in Cazenovia on Friday, June 23, 1944, she grew up and remained in Syracuse where she has left a lasting impression on the lives of the many she has touched. Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Roger Kitchen of Oneida and brother, Peter Baker of Millerton, Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2008 in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where Rev. Dennis Hayes will celebrate a Mass of Resurrection. Friends may call preceding the funeral from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at church. Burial will be in Loomis Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus. The family wishes to thank the staff at University Hospital, Units 6H and 5B, for their diligent and compassionate care.
