Herthel H. Buckland

Herthel “Tracy” Buckland, 99, of DeWitt, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at Francis House. Born in Canaseraga on Saturday, July 8, 1911, she was the daughter of Horace Seth Tracy and Grayce L. Boylan Tracy. She was a graduate of SUNY Geneseo. Tracy was owner of Buckland & Co., Inc. in DeWitt. She taught grade school before going into insurance. Tracy was predeceased by her husband, Jack Buckland; sister, Helen Bacon; and brother, Melborne Tracy. She is survived by her nephew, James Tracy of Clarence; and great-niece, Melinda Pearce of Auburn. There will be no services. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus.
