Imelda T. Gallagher

Imelda T. Gallagher, 82, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Community General. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, she graduated from St. Mary's Academy and moved to the Camillus area in 1976. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Imelda was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas, Joseph and Edward Shields. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Joseph; daughter, Imelda (Michael) Greene of Syracuse; sons, Kevin (Judy) Gallagher of Drexel Hill, PA and Michael Gallagher of Jordan; and grandchildren, Michael Jr., Joseph and Bridget Greene. Relatives and friends may call Monday, December 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the church. `Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus. Burial will be private.
