James Halpin Arnold

James H. Arnold, 44, of Mattydale, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was born on Thursday, June 29, 1967 and was the son of Claude Gabriel Arnold and Doris Irene Thompson Arnold. James enjoyed bowling, softball, NASCAR and the Red Sox. Surviving are his son, Darren Wolfanger; sisters, Sharon Arnold, Debbie Beaulieu, Theresa Jakway, Cathy Haywood, Cyndi Hall, Agnes McBride, and Janie Roach; brothers, David, Claude and Scott; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Glen DeVaul officiating. Burial will be private. Contributions in James’ name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., P.O. Box 7, E.
