James J. Carnegie

James J. Carnegie, 92, of Syracuse, passed away on Veterans Day. Born in New York City on May 25, 1926, he lived in Grindstone Island before moving to Syracuse. James was a graduate of Central High School and was employed in the automotive parts business. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII and member of the American Legion Post 1832.

James was predeceased by his son, Thomas.

Surviving are his son, James (Doreen); granddaughters, Jennifer and Christine; brother, Robert; and best friend and companion, Barbara Goss.

Burial took place in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
