Jane O. Wheeler

Jane O. Wheeler, 94, of Camillus, passed away Sunday, surrounded by her family. She was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. A communicant of St. Joseph’s Church, Jane was a member of the Legion of Mary and Guardian Angel Society. She was also a Eucharistic minister. Jane enjoyed reading, but her greatest joy, other than family, was her church.

Jane was predeceased by her husband, C.S. Wheeler; and son, Stephen Wheeler.

Surviving are her son, Timothy; grandchildren, Timothy, Adam and Amanda; and several great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, February 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 29 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Jane will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
