Janet E. Wood, 64, of Jordan, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Matthew House in Auburn, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Germany, she grew up in Bayfield, WI. An Air Force veteran, Janet lived in Glen Rose, TX before moving to Central New York in 2006. She enjoyed listening to music, attending horse shows and spending time with family.
Surviving are her husband of eight years, John D. McConnell; daughter, Jamie (Gerald) Goff of Hillsboro, TX; stepson, John (Aimee) McConell of Weedsport; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Cook of Texas; sister, Nancy Kennedy of North Carolina; brother, Shaler (JoAnn McMullen) Fiege of Wisconsin; granddaughter, Cassidy (Christian Marshfield) Miller of Liverpool; great-granddaughter, Scarlett Marshfield; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Matthew House, Inc., 43 Metcalf Dr., Auburn, NY 13021.
