Jayne Street

Jayne Street, 92, of Jamesville, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Upstate University Hospital Community Campus. She was employed with the NY Telephone Co., Dey Brothers and was a dedicated volunteer at Community General Hospital for over 40 years. Jayne married George on May 30, 1947. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Camillus before moving to Nottingham Senior Living.

Jayne was predeceased by her husband, George, in 1994.

Surviving are her daughters, Patricia (Jim) Kinsley and Barbara (David) Holzhauer; sister, Faye Brooks; grandchildren, Matthew and Marc Kinsley and Jennifer and David Holzhauer; great-grandchildren, Adeline, Charlotte and Asa Kinsley; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Help & Hugs of CNY, Jeamey from Peregrine and the staff and residents of The Nottingham. They extend their sincerest gratitude to Dr. Joseph Barry for his compassion and care as well as the staff at Community Campus.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday, April 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, April 9 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Jayne will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse.
