Jeanette B. Bridge, 84, formerly of Camillus, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Iroquois Nursing Home. Born in Syracuse on Tuesday, January 5, 1926, she was the daughter of Harry C. Britton and Celia VanBenthuysen Britton. She lived in Camillus most of her life. Her husband of 56 years, Lindsey Armour Bridge, died February 20, 2005. After retirement, Jeanette and Lindsey spent winters in Florida and summers at their camp at Hatch Lake. A graduate of Central Tech, she also attended Michigan State University. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and a volunteer at Community General Hospital. A devoted mother and wife, she was an avid bowler and sports fan. Surviving are her daughters and son-in-law, Carol King of McKinney, Texas and Jeanne and Edward Keplinger of Pompey; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Diane Bridge of Fairfax, Virginia, and Jay Bridge of West Palm Beach, Florida; sister, Louise Howe of Elmira; brothers, Paul Britton of DeWitt and William Britton of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, David (Diem) King, Ellen King, Michael Bridge, Mary Bridge, Amanda and Jacob Keplinger; and great-grandson, Matthew Don King. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 30 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus with Rev. Heather Williams officiating. Relatives and friends may call Monday, March 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Jeanette will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Glenwood Cemetery, Oneida.
