Joseph J. Gallagher

Joseph J. Gallagher, 86, of Camillus, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he moved to Syracuse in 1976. Joseph earned his bachelor's degree from La Salle University in 1960 and was employed with P&C Foods for over 20 years. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Imelda; and son, Michael.
Surviving are his daughter, Imelda (Michael) Greene of Syracuse; son, Kevin (Judy) of Drexel Hill, PA; grandsons, Michael (Emily) Greene Jr. and Joseph (Molly) Greene; and granddaughter, Bridget Greene.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 28 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 5600 West Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Scholars for Dollars, c/o Imelda Greene, 4917 Breckenridge Run, Syracuse, NY 13215.
