Judy F. Rothbaler-Stemmer

Judy F. Rothbaler-Stemmer, 69, of Syracuse died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at James Square Health and Rehabilitation Centre. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was born on Wednesday, October 26, 1938. Judy was a graduate of North Syracuse High School and Powelson Business School. She was formerly an executive secretary for the president of Crouse-Hinds. Judy was predeceased by her father, Earle E. Rothbaler. Surviving are her daughter, Julie Ann Stemmer of Baldwinsville; mother, Frances D. Rothbaler of Cicero; brothers and sisters-in-law, Earle and Ruth Rothbaler of Brewerton and Edwin and Marie Rothbaler of Marcellus; nieces, Wendy Baker of Central Square and Kathleen Rothbaler of Syracuse and nephew, Douglas Rothbaler of Birmingham, Alabama. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2008 at St. Lucy's Church where Rev. James D. Mathews will celebrate a funeral Mass. Friends may call Sunday, September 14, 2008 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Private burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Lucy's Food Pantry, 425 Gifford Street, Syracuse, NY 13204.
