Julie K. Pitts

Julie K. Pitts, 94 of Solvay, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing.  A lifetime resident of Syracuse, she attended Vocational High School. Julie was employed by Allied Chemical Corp. for 25 years. She was formerly a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church and currently a communicant of St. Cecilia’s Church.  She loved spending time with her family and friends. Julie was predeceased by her brother, Michael Krebzdak in 1998; and sister, Anne Gadzicki, in 1980. Surviving are her son, Lawrence (JoAnn) Kerr of Solvay; grandson, Christopher (Angela) Kerr of Solvay; niece, Beverly Fagg of Emporia, Kansas; and great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Antonia and Gabriella. A funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 29 in St. Cecilia’s Church.  Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
