Lawrence M. Hanlon

Lawrence M. Hanlon, 67, of Camillus, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018. Born in Auburn, he was raised in Borodino and moved to Camillus in 1995. He was a graduate of Skaneateles High School.
Lawrence was employed for over 20 years with the NY State Thruway Authority, retiring in 2014. He attended Camillus First United Methodist Church. Lawrence was passionate about politics, loved golfing and proudly had two holes-in-one, but above all loved spending time with family and friends.
Lawrence was predeceased by his beloved wife, Audrey this past October; and parents, Louis and Lillian Hanlon.
Surviving are his brothers, Keith of Watkins Glen, Louis of Skaneateles, Patrick of Port Orange, FL, Grant of Marcellus, and Matthew of Pensacola, FL; sister, Frances (Mickey) Brooks of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters-in-law, Paula Cooley of Winter Springs, FL and Mary (Paul) Bauso of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lawrence’s memory may be made to the SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Mattydale, NY 13211.
