Lisa (Costello) Zales

Lisa (Costello) Zales, 59, of Camillus, passed away peacefully Wednesday,  July 1, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Albany, she was raised on the Westside of Syracuse. Lisa attended Bishop Ludden High School and soon after began her lifelong career in insurance.  She most recently worked at Liberty Mutual as a commercial lines underwriting manager and loved supervising her Hudson Valley team.  Her proudest achievements were obtaining her CPCU designation in 1995 and watching her daughter, Allison, graduate magna cum laude honors from SUNY Geneseo. Lisa was fun-loving and enjoyed traveling with her family.  She was an avid SU fan, a football season ticket holder, and loved watching SU basketball and PGA golf, especially Tiger Woods. Lisa was predeceased by her father, Donald J. Costello.  Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Michael; daughter, Allison Zales; stepsons, Kevin and Brett Zales; sister-in-law, JoAnn Zales; her mother, Donna Pullano and "other" father, Louis Pullano; sisters, Karen (Marty) Kelley, Susan (Paul) Czerwinski and Connie (Edward) Stinson; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Monday, July 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 7 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Camillus.
