Lloyd J. Lanieu

Lloyd J. Lanieu, 86, of Fairmount, passed away Friday, April 17, 2009 at home. Born in Kemptville, Ontario, Canada on Tuesday, August 28, 1022, he was the son of Hermingile Lanieu and Emma Arcane Lanieu. He lived in Camillus for the past 60 years. He was a graduate of Syracuse University and served in the Army Air Corps. Lloyd was owner of O.R. Bell, Inc. for 40 years and a self-employed subcontractor. He was a Mason. Lloyd was a motorcycle and sports car enthusiast. His wife, the former Mary Coomey, died January 17, 2001. Surviving are his daughter, Toni Marie Green of Warners; son, Michael J. Lanieu of Camillus; grandchildren, Marie and Jonathan Green, Jeffrey and Sara Lanieu. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Lloyd will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
