Marian L. Hibbard
July 9, 1924 — June 6, 2021
Marian L. Hibbard, 96, of East Syracuse, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Loretto. Born in Utica, she was raised in Bath. Marian married her husband, Arland and then moved to Prattsburgh in 1944, lived in New Jersey for 13 years and then moved back to the Syracuse area in 2001. Marian was a member of West Genesee Hills Baptist Church and North Syracuse Baptist Church. She loved crafting, canning and speaking to the elderly at the Danish Home in New Jersey.
Marian was predeceased by her husband, Arland, in 2015; sisters, Phyllis Jones and Marjorie Gridley; brother, Robert Jones.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Hibbard of Syracuse; sons, James (Kathleen) of Texas and Richard of PA; nine grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Per Marian’s wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
