Marilyn D. Ciarla

Marilyn D. Ciarla, 77, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. She was dearly loved by her husband and family. Marilyn was a teaching assistant at Arc of Onondaga and previously worked as a secretary. She enjoyed collecting antiques, country living and spending an annual weekend in Saratoga. Marilyn loved spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Edwin Lewis. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Dominick; daughter, Christine (Robert) Elmer; son, Michael (Pamela); grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ryan) Ross, Rebekah, Sarah and Hannah Elmer and Molly and Robbie Ciarla; and great-grandchild, Avery Ross. Private calling hours for the family will be held Monday, July 11 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 11 at 12:30 p.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be held privately in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
