Mary C. Jenkins Berkman

Mary C. Jenkins Berkman, 90, of Camillus, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at The Centers at St. Camillus. Born in Utica, she lived most of her life in the Camillus area and was formerly employed with Dey Bros. Mary enjoyed flowers, playing tennis and bird watching. She was a volunteer at the gift shop at Community Hospital and loved playing Bridge with her friends. She was a member of Robinson Memorial Church and the National Audubon Society. Mary was predeceased by her first husband, John Jenkins; and son, James Jenkins. Surviving are her husband, Israel Berkman; son, Paul (Stephanie) Jenkins; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kristin) and Dylan (Liz) Jenkins and Thea (Aaron) Jeschke; and three nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, June 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be Monday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Mary will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
