Maryann Guinto MacArthur

September 12, 1951 — July 2, 2013

Maryann Guinto MacArthur, 61, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. Born in Syracuse, she was a lifetime resident of Camillus. Maryann was a 1969 graduate of West Genesee High School. Employed by Hills Dept. Store for 13 years, she retired in 1999. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and enjoyed her gardens and camping. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. Maryann was predeceased by her mother, Jane Guinto. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Robert W. MacArthur; daughters, Ann MacArthur of Camillus and Tina (Don) McCallops of Syracuse; son, Pat (Jenn) MacArthur of Camillus; father, Patsy Guinto of Camillus; brother, Philip (Donna) Guinto of Syracuse; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Church. Maryann will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Family Church Building Fund, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse, NY 13219.
