Michael G. Fleury

Michael G. Fleury, 42, of Warners, passed away Tuesday June 22, 2010 at University Hospital. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he attended West Genesee High School. He was employed five years for American Food and Vending. A former communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Michael was also a former volunteer fireman with the Warners Fire Department. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed hunting, gardening, watching sports and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife of 18 years, the former Kristine Dalton; daughter, Alyssa Fleury of Warners; son, Josh Fleury of Warners; parents, Oscar and Gayle Fleury of Palmetto, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Joseph Longo of Syracuse; niece, Amber Farina of Houston, Texas; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 24 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. There will be no calling hours. Michael will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Golisano Children's Hospital, c/o University Hospital, 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13210.
