Nadia Verbitska

January 13, 1933 — December 29, 2020

Nadia Verbitska, 87, of Solvay, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Born in the Village of Ohryskivtsi, she moved to Ternopil, Ukraine in 1957 and lived there until moving to Syracuse in 1994. Nadia was a member of Herald of Joy Evangelical Church.

Nadia was predeceased by her parents, Ivan and Anna Koval; sister, Vira Gudzyuk; and brother, Stepan Koval.

Surviving are her husband, Stepan; children, Andre (Natalie) Verbitsky of Niagara Falls, Canada, Lidia (Nicolay) Ivanchuk of Liverpool and Victor (Tamara) Verbitsky of Toronto, Canada; and grandchildren, Andre and Lilia Ivanchuk and Stanislav, Victor, Sasha and Dominick Verbitsky.

Services will be Saturday, January 2 at 6 p.m. and Tuesday, January 5 at 10 a.m. in Herald of Joy Evangelical Church, 3994 Split Rock Rd., Camillus. Nadia will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
