Nancy J. Fik

Nancy J. Fik, 80, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at The Centers at St. Camillus after a long illness. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, she was a 1955 graduate of St. Patrick's School. Nancy retired in 1991 after 34 years with the NY Telephone Co. An avid reader, she also enjoyed crocheting and going to the Turning Stone Casino.

Nancy's family would like to thank Dr. Kieb, Dr. Alkins and the St. Camillus Brain Injury Unit, especially Doctor Manansala and Denise Recore and staff for their loving care. They would also like to thank the pastoral care team of both The Centers at St. Camillus and Hospice.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Rose Fick.

Surviving are her sister, Elaine C. Fik of Syracuse; cousins, Debbie (Mark), Alexa and Zachary Rudy; and many other cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, December 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will be Friday, December 6 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Nancy will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Syracuse.
