Nancy J. Kelly

Nancy J. Kelly, 76, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at University Hospital. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of West Genesee High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in business from CCBI. Nancy was the executive secretary to the vice president of GHI Insurance Co. for over 20 years before retiring in 1993. She enjoyed playing Bingo and I GOT IT at the NYS Fair. Nancy also enjoyed reading, cooking, being an avid investor and spending her time helping others by providing transportation to the blind and disabled. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially traveling and going on vacation with them.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Beatrice Daniels.

Surviving are her children, Susan Isgar-Kelly of Syracuse, Richard Kelly of Denver, CO, Joseph Kelly of Marco Island, FL and Diana (Eugene Zachman) Kelly of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Nikita Butler, Dannae Isgar, Cameron Kelly and Charissa Kelly; great-grandchildren, Luke Butler, Connor Butler, Owen Butler and Jonathan Karpinski; brother, Gary (Joanne) Daniels of Camillus; several nieces and nephews; and Nancy’s former husband, Ronald Kelly of Syracuse.

Services will be private at this time. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date for family and friends. Nancy will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland.
