Olive E. Hayes

Olive E. Hayes, 87, a lifetime resident of Tipperary Hill, died Friday, December 15, 2006 at the Heritage Apts. Born in Syracuse on Friday, July 4, 1919, she was the daughter of Anna Blair and George B. Krzywicki. She was employed for 17 years by St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation Center. Ollie was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and a member of its Altar & Rosary Society. Her husband, James J. Hayes, died in 1979. Surviving are her sons, David J. (Larry) Hayes of Deerfield Beach, Florida, Rev. Dennis J. Hayes of Marietta and James J. (Linda) Hayes of Jordan and grandchildren, Ashley and James Hayes of Jordan. Services will be Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, North Lowell Ave. at Schuyler St., where Eucharist will be celebrated by all her family and friends. Friends may call Monday, December 18, 2006 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 216 North Lowell Ave., Syracuse, NY 13204 or to Dorothy House, c/o POB 288, Marietta, NY 13110.
