Patricia Coughlin Kolb

Patricia Coughlin Kolb, 85, of Horseheads, passed away Tuesday at Van Duyn Rehabilitation & Nursing in Syracuse. Born and raised in Malone, she lived in Horseheads most of her life. She was a graduate of New York State Teachers College at Potsdam. Patricia retired from the Horseheads Central School District. A communicant of St. Mary our Mother Church, she also was a member of the NYS Teachers' Association. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Patricia was  predeceased by her sisters, Carmelita Verwey, 1985, Rita Zerecker, 2003, and E. Margaret Fear in 2010. Surviving are her sister, Theresa (Robert) Whalen of New Jersey; brother-in-law, Thomas Zerecker of Nyack; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours and services will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patricia's memory to the Guardian Angel Society, c/o Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 259 E. Onondaga St., Syracuse, NY 13202.
