Patsy George Germinio

Patsy George Pappy Boy Germinio, 81, of Warners, died Monday, February 19, 2007 at Community-General Hospital. Born in Syracuse on Monday, February 23, 1925, he was the son of Antoinette Fall and Joseph Germinio. A lifetime resident of Warners, he attended Warners High School. Patsy was a former supervisor for the Camillus Highway Department for 30 years, retiring in 1987. He was also formerly employed by the Camillus Cutlery for 15 years. Patsy was a member of the Camillus Elks Club and former member of the Warners Fire Department. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Warners. Patsy enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, car shows and casinos. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, the former Bonnie Monnell; daughter, Patricia A. Smith of Camillus; sons, Joseph J. (Roberta) Germinio of Warners and Patrick G. Germinio of Camillus; sister, Theresa Lukowski of Camillus; brother, Joseph Germinio of Fairmount; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 12:30 p.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church where Msgr. Joseph M. Champlin will celebrate a funeral Mass. Friends may call Wednesday, February 21, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
