Peter A. Dottolo

Peter A. Dottolo, 94, of Camillus, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Crouse Hospital. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a graduate of Cathedral High School and St. Bonaventure University. He was an Army veteran of WW II. He retired in 1985 after 20 years as a decorating consultant with Manor House. For 25 years, Peter entertained children as Polka Dots the clown. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church.

Peter was predeceased by his wife, Molly; sons, Peter and Richard; two sisters; and six brothers.

Surviving are his three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Peter’s niece, Julia Graser of Camillus and nephew, John Dottolo of Liverpool, were his caregivers for the last several years

There will be no calling hours.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 19 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Peter will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
