Ralph G. Spadaro

Ralph G. Spadaro, 89, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. He was a graduate of North High and a musician from his youth, having played with some of Syracuse’s finest orchestras. Ralph worked at General Electric Co. for 21 years and then worked at his own real estate company, Spadaro Realty, for another 20 years. He retired at the age of 62 and enjoyed working in the garden.

Ralph was predeceased by his only sister, Nancy Raite, in 2005.

Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Lorraine; daughter, Leeanne Torrence of Coconut Creek, FL; sons, Ralph Jr. of Camillus and Michael of Syracuse; granddaughters, Cara Spadaro of Westvale and Michelle Spadaro of Sommerville, MA; nieces, Elaine Gombas of Cibolo, TX, Joanne Walliski of Kodak, TN and MaryLou Bird of Camillus; and several cousins throughout the country.

There will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass at Holy Family Church will be held at a later date. Per Ralph’s wishes, he was cremated.
